Freezer meal day 1

Welcome to the Freezer Momma’s Club!

The idea started by one momma wanting to get together and have a cooking day and freeze for later use. We then added in two others to create a total of 20 meals per family. Although this will be a trial and error thing, we are confident this will help ease the stress of what to cook.

A lot of us live busy lives and this is a way to help with the everyday stress of games, practices, and such. Many momma’s work or go to school full time and to be honest life just gets hectic. We are hoping this will take some stress off our shoulders when it comes to supper time, we can just get it out of the freezer the night before and either put it in the crock pot before we leave or throw it in the oven when we get home.

Our first freezer meal day was a huge success! Myself and three awesome ladies made 80 meals (20 per family) to make our busy lives a little easier in the evenings. Took us 9.5 hrs to cook and prepare the meals with a lot of small cuts on the ends of our fingers, but we had a blast! Thanks Nicole for letting us "break" in your new kitchen. Each family spent around $220 for all their meals. That broke down around $55 per family for 20 dinners at $11 each meal with some that would have leftovers.

We welcome you to create your own freezer club and create a stress-free supper time. Our club will have a max of 7 people that will bring 3 recipes to share with others that will give each family 21 meals to take home.

Not only are you creating a stress-free supper time but you are creating awesome memories with other momma’s, cooking time that is fun, learning from one another and sharing all your ideas and thoughts on life in general.

If you have any ideas please feel free to share! Thank you for visiting.
